Julianne F. Avrutik, M.S., D.D.S.

Dr. Julianne Avrutik was raised in South Brunswick, New Jersey and attended South Brunswick High School. She graduated from New York University, with a Bachelors of Arts in History with minors in French and biology. She worked in research at the Department of Pathology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School before going on to earn a Masters of Science in oral biology from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. After realizing that her interest in science and patient care could be married with her passion for art and her innate hand skills in the practice of dentistry, she decided to pursue a career as a dentist. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Wishing to further advance her skills she completed a General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Avrutik is a member of the the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Middlesex County Dental Society.

Dr. Avrutik volunteers at the Special Olympics where she conducts dental screenings on the athletes. She also volunteers with Smiles for Our Heroes where she provides free dental care to veterans. In her spare time, Dr. Avrutik enjoys cooking and eating (mostly eating), watching tennis, running, and spending time with her family and friends.
